Smithfield Concrete Driveway & Patio is a locally owned, fully insured flatwork company that pours residential concrete in Smithfield, Rhode Island. We stay small and local on purpose — it's how the quote, the crew, and the finished slab stay connected.
Our approach
Why we only cover Smithfield and its border
Concrete is unforgiving about timing. Once the truck shows up, the window to place, finish, and joint a slab correctly is measured in hours, and it shrinks in heat. A crew stretched across half the state is a crew making compromises on somebody's driveway.
By keeping our map tight — Smithfield first, with Lincoln, Johnston, Glocester, Scituate, North Providence, and North Smithfield as the outer ring — we can hold pour dates, get back to you the same week, and be on site for the finish rather than dispatching and hoping.
It also means we know the ground here: the ledge and glacial till in the northern end of town, the older village lots in Esmond and Georgiaville where access is tight, and how hard local winters are on any exterior slab.
Residential flatwork — driveways, patios, walkways — is the whole focus. We don't chase commercial pours or foundations.

How we work
Straight answers, including the ones you don't want
If resurfacing will get you five good years for a quarter of the price, we'll say so. If your slab is beyond saving, we'll say that too, and show you why. If stamped concrete is a bad fit for a shaded, north-facing walk that never dries, we'll steer you to a finish that works.
We'd rather lose a job to honesty than win one we'll be back to argue about.
